WebThe higher the resolution the more the gpu and vram size (and not the cpu) matters. So if you're going for 4k, the 4090 is better but at 1440p the 4080 may be more than sufficient. Also, check the games you play as some games don't really use much cpu anyways so it may not be a big difference either way.
