Webb19 juni 2024 · What's happening is that, during the particular libtool invocation, the empty variable is being passed to libtool. This results in the trailing compiler options being interpreted as invalid libtool options, giving us the errors you're seeing. If you aren't sure what variable is causing this, I can dig into it with the config.log file. Webb16 apr. 2024 · Later if you try to run simple_switch as a normal user, which the automated build and/or testing steps likely do, they will fail to remove that file since it is owned by 'root'. Could you try running this command, and then repeat the build/test steps that failed for you, to see if they succeed afterwards?

Makefile:1451: recipe for target 'h5repack.sh.chkexe_' failed H5repack error - make check and HDF5 make test in error suggest that these tests are unreliable and to use the -i flag.
